Returned to The Library

The group returns to the library after their dinosaur adventure.

Fitheach Eun places the Dinotopia book back on the table and looks around the library.

Talia Sunsong: "I got shinies!"

Talia Sunsong has two handfuls of crystals.

Fiesty.Lotus reorients herself to the library after the portal move.

 Fitheach.Eun looks at the crystals in her pouch quizzically.

Rorn: carries crystals to his little hoard.

Fitheach.Eun “So now that we have these...”

Fiesty.Lotus looks in her pouch and finds all sorts of crystals.

Fiesty Lotus: "Yes?"

Fitheach Eun: “Do you think that book will talk to us again? He was awfully grumpy.”

Fiesty Lotus: “Hmm- perhaps there is another one.”

Talia.Sunsong "Maybe the book is hungry. What do books eat?"

Savage Taurus notices the others playing with their crystals, which reminds him of the red crystal he found on the floor of the library.

Fiesty Lotus: “We need a book on crystals and their uses.”

Looking for More Crystal Books

Fitheach Eun: “That would be more useful than that grumpy troll or whatever he was.”

Fiesty Lotus begins searching the stacks.

Fitheach Eun goes to help.

Savage Taurus takes the red crystal out, which he kept separate from the others because it seemed extraordinarily pure and clear and brilliant.

Rorn arranges his hoard pieces and tries laying on them.

Talia.Sunsong "Maybe books eat paper wads."

Savage Taurus slinks away into another corner of the room so they can’t see what he is doing.

Talia.Sunsong looks for paper wads to feed the book.

Fitheach Eun stares at the rows of books but finds no inspiration.

Fiesty Lotus: “Oh, oh here is one about other dimensions!”

Fitheach Eun: “Oh?”

Savage Taurus examines the crystal with his serpentine eyes, chuckles to himself that the others are wasting their time looking through books.

Fiesty Lotus looks in the book and can’t understand a word it says.

Rorn: looks for other shiny objects to add to his hoard.

Rorn notices shiny bell on cat's collar.

Savage Taurus can feel a power emanating from the red gem, like a humming, buzzing in his head and body, and it’s so perfectly formed, truly a thing of beauty.

Rorn crawls on his belly, trying to sneak up to cat with shiny bell.

Fitheach Eun comes to look at Fiesty's book.

Fiesty Lotus puts the book back and looks around some more.

Fitheach Eun sees a bright purple book and pulls it off the shelf curiously.

Savage Taurus: a thought occurs to him, a connection that seems to come out of the ether, and he looks down at the necklace that he found at the end of that tunnel when he crawled into the ancient ruins.

The Red Crystal Fits

Fiesty Lotus asks Druid Fitheach “What's that book?”

Rorn: tries to pounce on the cat's bell. The cat hisses and swat's Rorn's nose.

Fitheach Eun: “I don't know.”

Fitheach Eun carries the book to the table and sets it down: " It was somehow attractive..."

Fiesty Lotus looks at the title

Talia.Sunsong "Purple is attractive." fluffs skirt.

Savage Taurus: "It couldn't, he mutters to himself, but gives it a try, and finds that the red gem fit perfectly into the end of the ancient necklace. Holding his breath, he presses it in and it locks into place.

Fiesty Lotus: “It's called "Crystals and their Uses" whadaya know!”

Fitheach Eun opens the book slowly...

Savage Taurus instantly feels the full power of the crystal course through his body; if he had hairs on his scaly body they would be standing on end. After a moment the surge subsides and the red crystal pulsates dully over his heart as it hangs around his neck.

Another Talking Book

Fitheach Eun: Oh dear, another head...I wonder if this one talks?

Talia.Sunsong comes closer, holding a handful of paper wads.

Fiesty Lotus ventures "Hello book."

Book Tech: “May I help you?”

Talia.Sunsong "Are you hungry?" offers paper wads to head in book.

Book Tech: “I know all about crystals and their uses.”

Fitheach Eun: “Oh, do you?”

Book Tech looks at the wads of paper dubiously

Talia.Sunsong "Can crystals make us powerful and rich?"

Savage Taurus has no idea what he has unlocked, but is feeling very optimistic with this new turn of events.

Fitheach Eun: How do we use the crystals to make something more powerful?

Book Tech: They can do some wonderful things.

Fitheach Eun grabs some paper and a quill to make notes

Fitheach Eun: "What sort of wonderful things?"

Book Tech: “They can be used and even magnified if the crystal is a good one.”

Savage Taurus slithers back over to the others trying to act as if nothing out of the ordinary has just happened.

Fitheach Eun notices a strange flash of red on Savage but is too busy with the head to investigate.

Book Tech: “Well, you can make an eternal lantern or a portal magnifier.”

Savage Taurus tries to not be too conspicuous, even though he needs his hat to still be taller than the hobbit.

Fitheach Eun: “A portal magnifier?”

I Know All About Crystals

Rorn: flies up to Savage and eyes the shiny crystal on his necklace.

Book Tech: “Oh yes that is a simple device. Would you like to know how to make one?”

Fitheach Eun smiles: "Yes, please."

Book Tech: “Alright. You can construct a sun driven reaction dish. This can be done by installing a dorsal crystal emitter in a delta ray resonance compressor. You can then run a diagnostic on the multitronic filament. Don't forget to calibrate the transitory particle interceptor, or you could wind up with an unwelcome subharmonic oscillation.”

Fiesty Lotus blanches "Um, is there an easier way?”

Fitheach Eun gulps...

Fitheach Eun: “Could you repeat that?”

Fitheach Eun: “Or, yes, is there an easier way?”

Book Tech: “Oh, yes. The basic construction is as follows..”

Fitheach Eun whispers to Fiesty: “Do you have any idea what he is talking about?"

Book Tech: “The easy way to construct a temporal portal is to affix the crystal to a receptacle. A steel convex dish will work. Then affix some magnetized lenses and a refractor cage for the crystal and you will have yourself a basic unit.”

Savage Taurus: “This book sounds like it was written by a gnome, with all that fancy gadget talk.”

Fitheach Eun: “A steel convex dish? And what is a refractor cage?”

Talia.Sunsong "Can you put that in language a Fae can understand?"

Fitheach Eun: I strongly doubt that is possible, Talia

Talia.Sunsong drops paper wads. "I'm a Fae genius. I can figure this out all by myself." She goes towards the door.

Book Tech: “You will need a convex dish a way to affix the crystal to the dish and several lenses to direct the crystal flow”

Interesting

Fitheach Eun: “Must the dish be steel or will any metal do?”

Book Tech: “You could use silver.”

Fitheach Eun: “Excellent I have a silver bowl.”

Savage Taurus looks at the talking book in contemplation and mutters to himself, "Maybe there is somethin to this book learnin'. That stuff sounds awful useful."

Fitheach Eun does not notice that Talia ran off

Talia.Sunsong wanders outside

Talia.Sunsong finds a carousel "Pretty horsie!"

Savage Taurus: “I can touch iron...I think *sighs*...it’s been so long I'm starting to forget.”

Fitheach Eun: “That's good Savage; it will help.”

Savage Taurus: “I don’t know nothin bout no carousel, but I know how to carouse.”

Fiesty Lotus turns to Druid Fitheach "I think I kin work on that."

Fiesty Lotus looks at Savage and sees the red crystal in his necklace.

Talia.Sunsong : "I'm a Fae genius I think I will make my own crystal magic."

Talia.Sunsong grabs a yellow crystal and shoves it into the mouth of a sea carousel dolphin.

Talia.Sunsong hops onto the back of the carousel animal. The animal starts bouncing around.

It rips itself off the carousel.

Talia.Sunsong  "Whoa!"

Whoa!

It bounces itself around the land and towards the library.

Fiesty Lotus attaches the crystal to the center of the dish with some wires lying around.

Savage Taurus watches the nanny bouncing around on a dolphin and mutters, "Faeries."

Fitheach Eun goes outside to look.

Talia.Sunsong crashes through the library door.

Savage Taurus: “Hold on there, missy!”

Talia.Sunsong "Stop!" grabs onto the carousel animal, riding it around the library.

Savage Taurus grabs at the dolphin to try to get it under control.

Talia.Sunsong is thrown to and fro, knocking over books and boxes.

Fitheach Eun goes back to look at what Fiesty is doing, shaking her head.

Savage Taurus wrestles the wooden animal, wrapping his long tail around it to subdue it.

A dusty old box with a rusty padlock falls off a shelf.

Fiesty Lotus ignores the hubbub and proceeds. She using some lens she found in a drawer and fixes them to the dish.

Talia.Sunsong the carousel animal with the crystal in its mouth shudders to a stop, wrapped in Savage's tail.

Fitheach Eun watches her sister building the contraption

Talia.Sunsong jumps off the carousel animal. "Those crystals are dangerous!"

Savage Taurus: sighs, "Can you turn this thing off, Nanny?"

Talia.Sunsong rips the crystal from the carousel animal's mouth.

Savage Taurus: lets out his breath and uncoils himself from the dolphin

The carousel animal becomes still.

Fitheach Eun looks over at the fae and shakes her head sadly, "Must you always wreck the place?"

Fiesty Lotus: “Well, This is about what the book said.”

About What the Book Said

Talia.Sunsong "It wasn't my fault, it was his fault!" points at the carousel animal.

Savage Taurus slithers over to check out what the hobbit is doing.

Rorn: noses the old locked box.

Book Tech looks at the hobbits work and nods, “That will do.”

Savage Taurus: looks at the hobbit and thinks she may be part gnome.

Talia.Sunsong "What is that Rorn?"

Talia.Sunsong bends down to pick up a locked box marked "Cursed"

Talia.Sunsong "Cursed? Well, I'll just put this on a shelf."

Savage Taurus: “You seem pretty adept at this mechanical stuff for a drood there little missy.”

Fiesty Lotus: “All I did was wire up some stuff. It wern't that hard.”

Savage Taurus peers over her shoulder to watch what she is doing.

The Device

Fitheach Eun is impressed with the device.

Rorn lands on the table and sniffs at the device.

Savage Taurus puts on his spectacles to get a closer look.

Talia.Sunsong "Will this get us more cream?"

Fitheach Eun rolls her eyes.

Fiesty Lotus: “I made this so that we could put any crystal in it.”

Fiesty Lotus: “There, that should do it.”

Savage Taurus: “And then what does it do?”

Talia.Sunsong "Let's shove all sorts of crystals in it and see what happens!"

Fitheach Eun looks to the book, "OK what do we do with this now?"

Fiesty Lotus reads “I think it magnifies power.”

Savage Taurus: Like makes us all royalty?

Book Tech: “You can affix this to any machine and it will provide power.”

Savage Taurus: “Hmmmm....contemplates how that could be useful.”

Talia.Sunsong  "Power? I want Fae power. Maybe then I will be worshipped like they did for me in Egypt."

Could We Affix It To An Airship?

Fitheach Eun: “Oh, interesting. Could we affix it to an airship, for example?”

Book Tech: “Yes, you could.”

Book Tech: “If you add a different crystal to it, it will do many things.”

Savage Taurus: “Like helps us enslave creatures to do our bidding?”

Fitheach Eun raises an eyebrow, “Fascinating."

Book Tech: “Pardon?”

Fitheach Eun looks at Savage, "Druids don't do that."

Savage Taurus: mutters, "Never mind. I guess we have different ideas about what 'power' means."

Rorn: tries to curl up and sleep in the dish

Book Tech: “For example you may add a yellow crystal for distance or space.”

Fitheach Eun turns to Fiesty; “What do you think about that different crystals idea?"

Fiesty Lotus: “I like it. We should try it out on a small project.”

Fitheach Eun nods; “Let’s figure out what that would be."

The Red Crystal

Savage Taurus: "Uhm...err..." tries to act nonchalant as he asks, "what ..uh...what do red crystals do?"

Fiesty Lotus: “Druid Fitheach has that list.”

Fitheach Eun pulls out the list: “Red crystals are for transformation."

Savage Taurus tries to be the very picture of detachment as he responds, "Oh..ok....good to know..."

Fitheach Eun notices the red crystal hanging from his pendant and smiles.

Savage Taurus casually puts his hand over his necklace and peers reprovingly as the elf.

Talia.Sunsong "Let's put it on the airship and look for cream." 

About Crystals

You Snake!

Talia.Sunsong: "Hey, you, you, snake. You had shinies and you didn't share them."

Fiesty Lotus looks at Savage and holds out his pouch

Savage Taurus: You been going through my stuff, Nanny?

Fitheach Eun: She turns to the others to ask but...

Savage Taurus: That's it! You're all fired!

Talia.Sunsong: A dino chick, I mean, Rorn knocked your pouch over.

Savage Taurus: Gimme my stuff back

Fiesty Lotus: It holds crystals from the Dino place

Savage Taurus snatches at the pouch

Fiesty Lotus: They are yours of course - but where did you get them

Fitheach Eun watches the confrontation with interest

Savage Taurus: None of your business, hobbit

Savage Taurus: Gimme!

Fiesty Lotus: It is important for all of us

Fiesty Lotus hands over the crystals peaceably

Fiesty Lotus: All I want to know is where you got them

Savage Taurus: Oh, suddenly my stuff is 'important for us all'.

Savage Taurus: takes the pouch and hides it away

Fiesty Lotus: Yes, perhaps it will help us change you back

Savage Taurus: “Hmm...I kinda like this shape for now, and I'm not sure I trust you to go monkeying around with my form anymore.”

Fiesty Lotus nods and sighs

Savage Taurus: Why are you so interested in them?

Fiesty Lotus looks over at Druid Fit and sees she is making a potion

Talia.Sunsong: "You shinies are my shinies too."

Fiesty Lotus looks back at the Naga and says "We believe they may have some power to them

Rorn: exclaims with joy as he finds a crystal

Rorn Finds a Crystal

Savage Taurus: Whatcha got there, son?

Rorn: runs away to take the crystal to his hoard

Talia.Sunsong: "Hey, come back here with that shiny!"

Fitheach Eun sighs and goes back to the potion

Talia.Sunsong: chases Rorn around

Fitheach Eun: I think I need some wormwood....

Talia.Sunsong: Rorn runs around the library and onto the lab table.

Savage Taurus: Nanny, leave him be. I'll let him have that one.

Fiesty Lotus: Um, I think I got some, somewhere

Fitheach Eun: or maybe ummmm willow bark...

Rorn: squeaks and trips over a bowl, dropping the crystal with a plop into the potion.

Fitheach Eun: not sure what this will do.

Savage Taurus: Boy, you gots ta be more careful 'n that

The Potion Glows

Fitheach Eun jumps back as the potion begins to glow

Fiesty Lotus: Oh hey, I just saw Rorn drop something shiny into your potion Druid Fit!

Fitheach Eun: Oh?

Fitheach Eun gingerly stirs the glowing mixture

Rorn: tries to dig crystal out of potion

Savage Taurus: sighs, "ya got ta look after your stuff better, son"

Fitheach Eun: Careful Rorn that was an irritant

Savage Taurus: A dragon's hoard is very important

Fitheach Eun: I don't know what it is now

Rorn: snorts when he doesn't get the crystal

Savage Taurus: Whatcha need ta do is lay on your hoard so that it gets encrusted into your belly scales

Rorn: when he touches the potion, his eyes pop open and a slight glow comes over his skin

Rorn: jumps back

Savage Taurus: "Be careful there now, boy. These droods make some strange brew 'round here"

Fitheach Eun looks at the glow dripping from Rorn's claws

Savage Taurus: slithers forward to try to clean the goop off his son

Fitheach Eun: it was only a mild irritant for skin conditions

Savage Taurus: grabs anything he can to get it off

Talia.Sunsong: grabs a pitcher of tea and dumps it over Rorn

Fiesty Lotus: Well- It is more than that now

Talia Washes Off the Potion

Savage Taurus: Good thinkin' girl

Savage Taurus: looks at his son, worried what will happen to him

Savage Taurus: What was that stuff, elf drood?

Fitheach Eun looks at Rorn with interest; “That crystal must have increased the potion's power.”

Fiesty Lotus stares at the bottle "That there crystal did a job on that potion."

Fitheach Eun looks at Fiesty and raises her eyebrows

Fiesty Lotus nods

Savage Taurus: Whats gonna happen to ma boy?

Fiesty Lotus: "We might look thisun up."

Fitheach Eun: That tea should have washed it all off; he should be fine Savage

Savage Taurus: nods, "ok good"

Rorn: blinks and drips tea

Fitheach Eun smiles at the fae: " Good thinking, Talia."

Talia.Sunsong: "I'm a Fae genius."

Savage Taurus: Maybe you deserve a raise, but my stuff still ain't your stuff!

Fitheach Eun: And yes, we had better look this up

Fiesty Lotus looks at Rorn to see if he is well and then turns to the Library - looking for crystals as a book subject

Looking for Books on Crystals

Talia.Sunsong: "I think you can give me shinies as a raise."

Savage Taurus: Yea, I'll think about it, girl

Savage Taurus: You are a bit useful sometimes

Fitheach Eun: There are an awful lot of books here...

Savage Taurus: cringes at all the wretched books

Savage Taurus: Why do we haf ta spend so much tahm in this dang liberary?

Fiesty Lotus: After a time Fiesty looks at Druid Fit "Any luck?"

Fitheach Eun sighs, “no”

Savage Taurus: All these books in one place...it ain’t natural, I tell ya

Talia.Sunsong: grabs the corner of a rug to dry off Rorn. "There you go little one."

Savage Taurus: Thank ya fer taking care of ma boy

Talia.Sunsong: "Pay me in shinies."

Fiesty Lotus reads a complex title with Crystals in it

Fiesty Lotus: "This looks Promisin."

Fitheach Eun moves closer and look over Fiesty's shoulder

Fiesty Lotus startles as a blue head emerges from the book

Blue Head: Who disturbs my rest?

Whatdaya Want?

Fiesty Lotus: "Whaat!"

Savage Taurus: Holy geeez!! It's got a freakin' head!

Rorn: jumps out of Talia's arms and runs around the book crying "Head, blue!"

Blue Head: I was having a nice nap; whatdya want?

Fiesty Lotus: "Oh No. I didn'a mean ter wake yer"

Fitheach Eun watches the talking head suspiciously

Rorn: sniffs the head

Fiesty Lotus: I wuz lookin fer information on crystals

Talia.Sunsong: "Did someone shove you into the book?"

Blue Head: Crystals eh? Whatdya need to know?

Savage Taurus: slithers away quickly and hided under the table, muttering "That ain't right, that just ain't right"

Fiesty Lotus turns to Fit "What now? This be right strange"

Fitheach Eun whispers: " He seems inclined to be helpful?"

Fiesty Lotus looks back at the blue head and say "Well, der you know if crystals have power?

Blue Head: “Ummm yes, well, Crystals can increase the power of things? Is that your question?”

Blue Head: “And the colors have different effects”

Blue Head: “White crystals increase power for example”

Fiesty Lotus whispers "Oh - I didn't think of that."

Learning About Crystals

Blue Head: “Does that help? Can I go back to sleep now?”

Fiesty Lotus: Oh well - since yer up. Do you know about the other colors?"

Savage Taurus: peeks out from under the table, "Is it gone yet?"

Talia.Sunsong: "Which crystals give me more shinies and cream?"

Blue Head: It's awfully bright here...

Blue Head sighs: “Blue is for time; purple is for illusion, yellow is for distance”

Blue Head: “Green is for healing”

Fiesty Lotus looks back at a cowering Savage and hides a smile.

Talia.Sunsong: "I don't understand that. Blue is for time? It's a clock?"

Blue Head: “Red is for transformation and gray for summoning”

Savage Taurus: It’s about time you shut that dang book!

Blue Head: “Now go find another book to bother; I'm sleepy”

Fiesty Lotus: "yer got all that Druid Fit?"

Talia.Sunsong: "This is why Fae don't bother with crystal magic. It's confusing."

Fitheach Eun grabs a quill and scribbles it all down

Fiesty Lotus looks back at the book and sees that it is now firmly closed

Talia.Sunsong: peeks at the book. "Is he squashed in there?"

Fitheach Eun looks at Fiesty: "Well that was illuminating."

Savage Taurus: I hope so! Rorn: sneezes.

Fitheach Eun looks at her notes: "The crystal that Rorn dropped in my potion was white."

Fiesty Lotus nods "that is what I saw

Savage Taurus: peers at the floor where he is hiding and sees a red crystal and quickly picks it up and pockets it

Savage Taurus: mumbles, I don’t know what red means, but they ain’t gettin' their hands on this one

Savage Finds a Red Crystal

We Need More Crystals and Back to Momma

Everyone Gathered Around the Cage

Saphira Mistwalker drops into the library, to find the others gathered around a cage.

Fiesty Lotus: Well, that Savage ain't much fer this trip

Fitheach Eun raises an eyebrow at Savage: "If you are going to take that attitude, we will return him by ourselves

Fitheach Eun puts the book on top of the dino's cage

Talia Sunsong: Sigh we don't get to sell Savage or the Dino to the circus?

Savage Taurus: "I got my crystals and them ladies ain't willen.

Saphira Mistwalker: Are we taking this little guy home then?

Fitheach Eun: ‘Ok everyone, gather round and touch the book.’

Fitheach Eun: Yeah Saph, we feel he belongs with his mother

Fitheach Eun: And he eats too much.

Saphira Mistwalker: Heh, a growing child.

Rorn sits proudly on the cage

Rorn: greets Saphira

Saphira Mistwalker: Greetings Rorn.

Saphira Mistwalker: Greetings Savage.

Talia Sunsong: "Savage you sure you don't want to go to the circus?"

Fitheach Eun: "Everyone touch the book, please"

Fiesty Lotus touches the book

Saphira Mistwalker sighs and reaches for the book.

Talia Sunsong: steps forward and touches the book

Rorn: puts on paw on the book

Fiesty Lotus: Come on Savage Naga

Savage Taurus: is reluctant to touch a book, thinking it might harm him in some way

Talia Sunsong: "Look Saph, I helped turn Savage into a Naga"

Fitheach Eun rolls her eyes

Fitheach Eun: "Helped, yeah"

Talia Sunsong: "I didn't read the ingredients on the potion bottle closely"

Saphira Mistwalker hesitates in touching the book and rolls her eyes as well. "I see that. Some improvement, I guess."

Talia Sunsong: "People make substitutions in recipes, right?"

Saphira Mistwalker: Hmm, I'm not sure potions are quite the same thing.

Saphira Mistwalker takes a deep breath and touches the book as well.

Savage Taurus: doesn’t want to be the only one left so he touches the book with one small finger

Talia Sunsong: "I thought potions and recipes were the same."

Fitheach Eun traces the symbols in the book slowly

Fitheach Eun: The book begins to glow brighter

Fitheach Eun: On the third repetition, everything starts to swirl and goes black

Saphira Mistwalker looks around and hisses gently at all the huge reptiles.

Fitheach Eun blinks in the brighter light

Saphira Mistwalker looks up at the new arrival and gulps. "Even in my full dragon form, I'm not that big. Shadow dragons are small."

Fitheach Eun hears rumbling coming closer

Fiesty Lotus: "Uh, oh, I think we need ter let the critter out."

Talia Sunsong: "Sigh, we are letting go of many shinies we could get selling him to the circus."

Fitheach Eun gulps and backs away; “Yes, Fiesty I believe you are correct.”

Back to Mama

Fiesty Lotus hurries to open the cage door.

Saphira Mistwalker notices she is between the mother and baby, and backs out of the way

Fiesty Lotus: The T-Rex scurries toward his mother

Fitheach Eun watches the mother and the other reptiles closely

Rorn: "Bigggg dwagon!"

Fiesty Lotus: Yes Rorn, that be a big one.

Savage Taurus: yea, lower creatures like that need to be kept in cages...reptiles, and faeries, and hobbits, and elves, and....

Saphira Mistwalker: You know, my clan had stories about these big reptiles, from ages past. I didn't know there were still any in existence.

Fiesty Lotus: And Nagas...

Talia Sunsong: "I'll use my bent magic wand to save us!"

Fitheach Eun: Really Saphira? How old are those legends?

Savage Taurus: No, I said 'lower' creatures

Talia Sunsong: "Do wingless dwagons eat Fae?"

Fiesty Lotus: I be taller than you now Savage

Savage Taurus: Probably

Fitheach Eun ignores Savage, again

Saphira Mistwalker: Hmm, really old. Almost from the dawn of our clan, so thousands of millennia.

Fitheach Eun: Interesting

Fiesty Lotus watches Savage

Talia Sunsong: "This dino is 1000s of years old? She looks good for her age."

Saphira Mistwalker: I don't think she is. I just say we thought they were all gone a long time ago.

Savage Taurus: Saphira, these creatures to us are like what monkeys are to the hominids.

She Musta Just Ate

Fiesty Lotus: The Mother doesn't seem interested in us-- she musta just ate

Talia Sunsong: Mother T-rex looks at group and roars

Fitheach Eun retreats further and collects some crystals as well

Fiesty Lotus notices Savage and looks around for other crystals

Savage Taurus quickly hides them behind his back, "What? What are you talking about? You'd better watch that mama dino. She might mistake you for a snack."

Saphira Mistwalker watches the two gathering crystals. "What are the crystals for?"

Fitheach Eun: " We need crystals for some experiments. we learned they can power things up."

Rorn: flies around head of T-rex chick one last time and follows others

Saphira Mistwalker nods.

Talia Sunsong: "Shinies? You have shinies?" eagerly goes to pick up crystals.

Savage Taurus: sighs as he realizes the rest of the group has noticed them too

Fitheach Eun follows thinking about crystals

Fiesty Lotus looks at the lone crystal sitting there and says to Druid Fit "I think we are gonna need more crystals."

Fitheach Eun: "Hey about this egg?"

Talia.Sunsong: tries to grab egg shells. "I'll just put this away."

Fitheach Eun: And yes I agree, I think we will need quite a few crystals

Rorn: noses around eggshells

Fiesty Lotus looks up startled "Oh yeah, In all that confusion I forgot about that egg.

Fiesty Lotus looks at Talia

Rorn: gets scent of creature formerly inside of eggshell and follows it.

Fitheach Eun looks at Talia and raises her eyebrows questioningly

Fiesty Lotus: Soo, Rorn brought back this egg from Dinotopia, and it hatched...

Talia.Sunsong: "See, I'm innocent. It was Rorn's fault this time." She looks over at Rorn, who is sniffing around, following a trail.

Fitheach Eun gulps: "An egg from Dinotopis, but that would contain a giant lizard."

Savage Taurus: Yea, you say that now, but it’s always, "Savage don’t attack that. Savage don’t eat this," cause ya caint even pronounce ma name right!

Talia.Sunsong: the enraged and hungry TRex runs towards the meat.

Fitheach Eun raises an eyebrow: "You don't pronounce druid right either. "

Fiesty Lotus: The dino enters the cage tearing at the meat
