Kraken

 

Sea Witch

Sorceress: "Have you decided to give up your consort to me?"

Sorceress: Or do I loose the Kraken?

Sea Witch: Sea Witch: Never!

Savage Taurus: A dragon ain’t afraid of no kraken

Sorceress raises her staff and removes the stasis holding the Kraken

Sorceress: It creeps slowly towards the Mer Queen

Talia.Sunsong: So, I get treasure if I help the merfolk? Like really shiny treasure?

Fiesty Lotus very uncomfortable in her air bubble pulls out her staff

Savage Slithers Forward

Savage Taurus slithers forward through the water in a serpentine motion undulating with great speed

 and lets out a superheated burst of boiling water from his dragon maw

Fiesty Lotus: You may not bully the Mer Queen, Sorceress

Rorn: bounces around inside his air bubble, flipping as he tries to move

Sorceress replies testily: " And who are you to stop me?"

Rorn: squeals with delight as his father zips by and lets out a blast

Fiesty Lotus: We are the Druids of the spirit elements

Sorceress: "Indeed?"

The Sorceress

Fiesty Lotus: We uphold the good of the land

Talia.Sunsong: Spots a giant pearl in a clamshell

Sorceress: Ah, so that is why you rescued that Troll?

Fiesty Lotus: You may not trouble the good mer

Sorceress: I am merely seeking a replacement for him

Talia.Sunsong: Is this part of the treasure that we will get?

Fiesty Lotus sees the fae losing focus and hisses at her

Talia.Sunsong: looks at the hobbit, "What'd I do?"

Fiesty Lotus: Come fight Fae Talia

Talia.Sunsong: Sigh "If I have to in order to get treasure."

Fiesty Lotus aims her staff at the sorceress and releases a fire bolt

Fiesty Releases a Fire Bolt

Fiesty Lotus: The bolt misses narrowly but singes some of her hair

Sorceress: The sorceress spins her shield, deflecting most of the bolt

Savage Taurus lets out a roar his scalding blast hits the Kraken and then slithers away through  the

 water, darting here and there to avoid the Kraken's tentacles

Fiesty Lotus waves her staff around too much and staggers in the unstable bubble

Savage Taurus swoops in , dodging tentacles, for another blast of searing water at the Kraken, aiming for its mouth

Rorn: With a tiny battle cry, Rorn follows his father in an attack on the Kraken

Rorn Watches

Sorceress attempts to deflect the blast but fails

Savage Taurus slithers away like a serpent through the water and sees his boy too close to the maw of

 the beast and swims in to grab him

Fiesty Lotus flies in arms akimbo to grab Rorn

Sorceress fires a fireball at the intruders

Rorn squeaks as a tentacle hit him, sending him spinning towards the sharp teeth of the Kraken

The Kraken Almost Gets Rorn

Talia.Sunsong: "Rorn!!!"

Fiesty Lotus skirts the fire ball and grabs Rorn

Rorn hides in Fiesty's arms

Savage Taurus: as Fiesty grabs Rorn, he grabs his hobbit companion and then swims backward with great swiftness to get them both to safety

Fiesty Lotus: Ug Savage, stop wrenching my arm

Fiesty Lotus: Fiesty wiggles free of the dragon and turns to fight again

Savage Taurus: quickly deposits Fiesty and Rorn on a rock ledge and darts to the surface to fill his air

 bladder and swims back down

Talia.Sunsong: Pulls out her bent magic wand and flicks it at the evil sorceress. "Eat fish!". A school of

 minnows swim from her wand.

Talia Sends Schools of Fish Towards the Sorceress

Sorceress is momentarily distracted by the fish

Sorceress: But then turns back to the real combatants

Talia.Sunsong: "Look! Look! I actually did something"

Fiesty Lotus looks at the fish and sees an opportunity

Talia.Sunsong: "I am Fae, hear me roar!!!"

Fiesty Lotus: Fiesty make the fish grow bigger and bigger swarming the Kraken

Savage Taurus: as the Kraken is distracted by the fish, he sneaks in close breathes a blast of superheated

 boiling water into the kraken's gaping maw

The Kraken recoils and lets out a wounded bellow

Sorceress: and then runs away whimpering

Savage Taurus: gets battered by a tentacle and quickly retreats and slithers an orbit around the monster

Talia.Sunsong: "I AM DANGER FAE!!!!"

Talia.Sunsong: waves magic wand about

Sorceress calls to the wounded creature but it refuses to return

Talia.Sunsong: Wand misfires and breaks part of palace archway

Sorceress turns to face the interlopers

Savage Attacks the Kraken

Savage Taurus: lets out a barking laugh at the witch's humiliation

Sorceress raises her staff and readies more fireballs

Sorceress: But she slips on the slimy rock as she fires the first blast and it goes astray

Talia.Sunsong: "Nahhhh Nah, missed me!"

Sorceress steadies herself and raises her staff again for another shot

Fiesty Lotus lifts her staff and throws  a  boulder at the sorceress

Sorceress doges the boulder but slips again and is struck in the leg

Savage Taurus: decides to fight fire with...claws! ...swoops in and tries to grab the witch

Sorceress hardens her shield as the dragon attacks

Sorceress: But staggers back on her injured leg

Savage Taurus: misses and slithers away through the water and circles around

Talia.Sunsong: "Hey, she can make boulders! Why can't I do that?"

Sorceress: is leaning on her staff for support, she cannot use it

Talia.Sunsong: shakes her magic wand and pebbles come out

Sorceress throws all her strength into her shields

Savage Taurus: me dives down and attempts to pin her against the rock

Fiesty Lotus says to the group " she must be tiring. Why do we not all attack?

Savage Taurus: fails miserably and nearly knocks himself out

Talia.Sunsong: "Attack!!!!!"

Fiesty Lotus waves her staff but misses completely

Sorceress makes her shields rotate slowly to deflect any attacks, she hopes

Talia.Sunsong: points her bent magic wand at the evil sorceress. "Take this you cruddy Kraken creator!"

Sorceress secure in her shields just laughs at the fae

Fiesty Lotus subtly add her strength to whatever Talia is trying

Talia.Sunsong: the wand sputters, then roars to life sending a giant clam shell towards the sorceress"

Sorceress Stops the Giant Clam

Sorceress braces and raises her staff, stopping the shell in midair

Talia.Sunsong: The clam shell claps open and shut, open and shut

Talia.Sunsong: "Crush that sorceress"

Fiesty Lotus: put it closer

Talia.Sunsong: "Trap the evil one!"

Sorceress watches as the fortified clam starts to penetrate her shields.

Talia.Sunsong: "Go clam!!!"

Fiesty Lotus: So go you two

Savage Taurus: attempts to sneak behind the witch and grab her from behind while she is distracted

The Clam Penetrates the Shields

Sorceress: unable to keep it from penetrating her air shield, the sorceress raises her wand and disappears

Talia.Sunsong: "Where'd she go?"

Talia.Sunsong: "Do I still get my treasure?"

Savage Taurus: just as he goes to grab her, she evaporates within his arms

Talia.Sunsong: tries to pick up pearl the size of a seer's crystal ball. "I can have this as treasure, right?"

Savage Taurus: Yes, honey, I can put it in my castle's vault for you for safe keeping

Rorn swims around mer palace looking for treasure for his little hoard

The sea witch beams at them and says Talia may have the pearl

Savage Taurus: yes, make sure to gather up all the little goodies, son

Talia.Sunsong: "I'm rich, rich, rich!"

Sea Witch: "Thank you for rescuing my consort; that sorceress is evil."

Fiesty Lotus bows to the queen and goes up for some good air

Rorn grabs gemstones, coins and smaller pearls
