Savage.Taurus: Bull man? If you want to meet the big honcho in these parts, I can introduce you.

Talia.Sunsong: Is honcho a food?

Fitheach Eun: That would be great Savage; maybe we can bargain

Savage.Taurus: hehe...depends on your appetite

Savage.Taurus: it’s beef, primarily

Talia.Sunsong: looks confused and pets Rorn

Savage.Taurus: "Come this way," walks down the street and takes a few turns through the city

Fiesty.Lotus nods and looks around

Fitheach Eun: As long as it's not bull, we should be fine

Talia.Sunsong: follows while looking out for more cream

Fitheach Eun follows Savage warily

Savage.Taurus: walks down passageways, through arcades lined with brightly colored columns, down a set of staircases

Fiesty.Lotus tries not to look at the women in town

Talia.Sunsong: looks for shiny objects

Talia.Sunsong: I want a pretty skirt

Fitheach Eun gazes around, enjoying the colorful architecture

Talia.Sunsong: why does the woman statue have snakes in her hands?

Talia.Sunsong: Why are there bulls everywhere?

Savage.Taurus: stops at an open-air cafe, where a large muscular creature, with the head of a bull, sits eating a gyro

Fiesty.Lotus glances up and then down

Fitheach Eun: I would guess it is part of their religion, Talia

Talia.Sunsong: stops in surprise when she sees the man with the head of a bull

Fiesty.Lotus whispers under her breath "heathens."

Fitheach Eun looks at the Bull in the cafe and raises an eyebrow

Talia.Sunsong: "I thought I have seen everything as a fairy."

Fiesty.Lotus goggles at the creature

Savage.Taurus: walks up to the bull-man and says, "Hello, again. My friends here would like a word with you, if you don’t mind."

Fitheach Eun: There are more things in heaven and earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy ;)

He's the Honcho?

Fiesty.Lotus frowns and nods

Talia.Sunsong: My Fae philosophy I learned from cats: eat sleep play

The creatures turns his overly large head, topped with long pointy horns, and eyes the newcomers up and down suspiciously

Talia.Sunsong: "You have pretty big eyes, Mr. Bull headed

Honcho: looks at the fae and chuckles

Fiesty.Lotus whispers to Druid Fit: "We need a way outa here."

Honcho: You have pretty wings. Would they regrow if I plucked them?

Fitheach Eun looks at the fae in disbelief

Talia.Sunsong: Rorn jumps off Talia's arm and lands on the table.

Talia.Sunsong: "Eeek don't touch my wings."

Fitheach Eun nods at Fiesty

Fiesty.Lotus mutters "Uh Oh."

Talia.Sunsong: Rorn sniffs around the food on the table

Fitheach Eun: “Mr Bull, we are looking for a portal to another world and wonder if you know where one is to be found?”

Fiesty.Lotus readies her staff for violence.

The minotaur watches the dragon whelp hop onto the table, and pulls his food away instinctively

Honcho: "Hmm....dragon pup," looks to Svag, "This one of yours?" Svagtuz nods and smiles.

Talia.Sunsong: Rorn licks up spilled sauce

Talia.Sunsong: "You know what Svagtuz is?"

Fitheach Eun looks to Savage to translate her question

The bulls eyes the elf warily, "portal you say?"

Fitheach Eun looks back levelly; "Yes a portal, have you seen one?"

Fitheach Eun: It's a kind of sparkly, hazy barrier you can go through...

The bull grins, "yea, we've met. He's really bad at riddles."

Honcho: The bull rolls his eyes, "I know what a portal is..."

Fiesty.Lotus is very confused by the dialog

Fae Talia

Talia.Sunsong: "He doesn't appreciate Fae paradise either. I tried to milk a unicorn there and we had to leave"

Honcho: the bull bursts out laughing in a low resonant burst

Honcho "I would have liked to see that" 

Talia.Sunsong: "Those unicorns are so picky. It didn't give up any milk either."

Fitheach Eun: “Have you seen a portal around here then?”

Honcho: The bull grins, " I hope it wasn’t a male unicorn"

Talia.Sunsong: "We need to leave here before the giants break out of the ground in the big smoky thing"

Honcho: "Well, that’s my problem too, you see," says the bull

Talia.Sunsong: "Lava giants I think is what druid Fiesty said, live in the big smoky thing."

Fitheach Eun looks at the Bull in exasperation: "If you could show us where the portal is we could be on our way"

Fitheach Eun: We don't exactly fit in around here

Honcho: "I do know where a portal is," says the bull, "But what's in it for me? Why should I help you?"

Talia.Sunsong: "And someday soon the lava giants will come smashing out of the big smoky thing, and rumble, and throw rocks and lava."

The Volcano

Fiesty.Lotus tries to hush the fae

Honcho: "...and how do you know about these 'lava giants'?"

Talia.Sunsong: "We don't want to be around when the lava giants rumble."

Talia.Sunsong whispers: "The magical little hobbit here told me.

Fitheach Eun considers the question..." Because we are nice, unassuming beings?"

Fiesty.Lotus looks exasperated

Honcho: the bull rolls his eyes and goes back to eating his gyro

Fitheach Eun looks at Fiesty and whispers: " Can we do it?"

Talia.Sunsong: "But this Hobbit here is a powerful druid."

Fiesty.Lotus whispers" We got ter give him somthin."

Fitheach Eun considers whether a gag might be good for Talia

Talia.Sunsong: "Don't give him my wings."

Honcho: "You come asking for a favor, but you bring me no gifts. you offer nothing in return...

Fitheach Tries to Bargain

Fitheach Eun takes a deep breath and looks at the Bull: "Suppose we calm your little fiery problem for you?"

Talia.Sunsong: Rorn starts drinking from a half drunk glass

Honcho: the bulls stops chewing and looks at them sideways, "I'm listening..."

Fiesty.Lotus hisses and twitches

Fitheach Eun: "We can stop that volcano if you tell us where the portal is."

Talia.Sunsong: Rorn hiccups

Savage.Taurus: the bull shoos the dragon pup away from his drink

Fitheach Eun: The hobbit and I are both powerful archdruids

Honcho: "How do I know you can do anything of the sort? You don’t look all that impressive"

Talia.Sunsong: nods her head. "They get me out of trouble all the time. They are powerful to do that."

Honcho: the bulls looks at the fae, "I have no doubt you get in trouble all the time. That much I believe"

Fitheach Eun stand up tall and calls a small lightning bolt to strike the bull's table

Fitheach Eun raises an eybrow; "Is that an adequate demonstration?"

Honcho: the bull stares at the elf and gives a low warning growl, "Watch yourself, elf"

Fiesty.Lotus draws hersef up to her 4' 4" frame and says: " Oh yes we can you Bull creature you."

Fiesty Raises her Staff

Fiesty.Lotus raises her staff threateningly

Honcho: the bull chuckles at the hobbit and pats her on the head

Talia.Sunsong: picks up Rorn who was startled by the lightning

Fitheach Eun: “Oh, I would not do that bull man.”

Fiesty.Lotus causes a rock to upend and fall in the creature’s soup

Fitheach Eun: She is way more powerful than she looks

Talia.Sunsong: "You are lucky the hobbit is nicer than the pixies. Don't get a pixie mad."

Fitheach Eun chuckles and smiles at Fiesty

Honcho: the bull sighs as the soup splashes him and pushes his chair away from the table, " Now you are just being rude"

Talia.Sunsong: Rorn jumps back on the table and licks up the spilled soup

Fitheach Eun: smiles at the bull: " And do not anger the druids for they are quick to respond."

Honcho: The bull drops his napkin on the table and stands up, displaying his full height, towering over them impressively

Talia.Sunsong: "Ooo you are big."

Fitheach Eun does not look impressed

Talia.Sunsong: looks at his sharp horns. "You don't ever stab anyone with those, do you?"

Fiesty.Lotus scowls at the Bull man

Honcho: "Show me you can do something about the volcano, and I'll think about helping you. Otherwise, don’t waste my time, ladies"

Talia.Sunsong: "He called me a lady. See I told you I was one."

Fitheach Eun: You know we will find the portal on our own eventually, but you will not survive what is about to blow up”

Honcho: the bull turns and walks away from the cafe without so much as a goodbye

The Bull Man Walks Away

Fiesty.Lotus nods thoughtfully

Fitheach Eun: I want a firm deal before we act

Talia.Sunsong: "They can do it, Mr. Bull man

Talia.Sunsong: "You can do it, can't you?" Talia turns to ask the druids.

Fitheach Eun calls after him: "I hope you like walking in molten lava.."

Fitheach Eun: You will burn your little hooves ;)

Honcho: the bulls turns a corner and disappears out of sight

Fitheach Eun shrugs and turns to the others: "So let's start looking for this portal."

Savage.Taurus: "That went well," Svag says sarcastically

Talia.Sunsong: "Let's go show that bull man that you can do something about the volcano."

Fiesty.Lotus: “Well then, let’s get to it, we don't wanna be fried”

Fitheach Eun: “Why should we exhaust ourselves?”

Talia.Sunsong: "Let's go to the big smoky thing before the lava giants escape"

Savage.Taurus: "he will hold up his end of the bargain. He helped me get out of the labyrinth yesterday"

Savage Reassures the Others

Fitheach Eun sighs and gets into the boat

Fiesty.Lotus gets in- trying to keep her skirts dry

The others get into the small boat and they set out for the volcano.

Savage.Taurus: "Maybe we could just try being a little more diplomatic next time?"

Talia.Sunsong: Rorn sits on the prow of the boat with his ears in the wind."

Fitheach Eun looks at Savage; " He was not being diplomatic."

On the Way to the Volcano

Found! But in Crete?

Talia Sunsong: Rorn has a peacock feather in his mouth

Talia Sunsong: Rorn suddenly flies out of Talia's arms towards a man

Fitheach Eun: Hey, look at the tall guy out there

Talia Sunsong: "Rorn come back!"

Savage.Taurus wanders in, munching on a gyro, and stops, startled

Savage.Taurus: Rorn? Rorn!

 Rorn lands on the man's shoulder

Talia Sunsong: "It's... It's...!"

Savage.Taurus hugs his son happily

Savage is Found!

Fiesty.Lotus goggles at the strange man: "No that's just not right. He is familiar...."

Fitheach Eun smiles

Savage.Taurus: "Hello ladies. What are you doing here?"

Fitheach Eun: "Hello Savage. We might ask the same of you."

Talia Sunsong: "It's dragon daddy!"

Fiesty.Lotus: "Oh! Savage!"

Fitheach Eun: "Where is here, by the way?"

Savage.Taurus: "Well, I got transported to this island somehow, but I'm making out ok so far."

Fiesty.Lotus : "Well I never…"

Savage.Taurus: "This island is called Crete"

Talia Sunsong: looks at her bent magic wand when Savage mentions how he got here

Talia Sunsong: "Creek?"

Talia Sunsong: "Do they have a lot of streams?"

Where Have we Landed?

Fiesty.Lotus: "Oh that's right - I did not end up at the right place either."

Fitheach Eun glances significantly at Talia

Savage.Taurus: "Well, its surrounded by water, so I guess so."

Talia Sunsong looks at her bent magic wand again

Fitheach Eun: "Maybe you should put that away?"

Talia Sunsong: "Hey I did my best with my magic getting us back from the Fae lands. I'm only human...I mean Fae."

Fiesty.Lotus: "So Savage, do you know what's up here? Is the natives friendly?"

Savage.Taurus chuckles at the silly faery

Savage.Taurus: "Yes, they are quite friendly."

Fitheach Eun sighs and wonders if the wand could be straightened

Talia Sunsong: "Are they all half naked?"

Fitheach Eun: And whether that would help....

Savage.Taurus: "As far as I have noticed."

Are They all Half Naked?

Talia Sunsong: "I can get half naked too, to blend in"

Fiesty.Lotus shudders

Fitheach Eun: "Do we really need to blend in?"

Savage.Taurus: grins, "That's not a bad idea," and winks

Fiesty.Lotus shudders even more

Fitheach Eun: "Like there is any way to get half naked and hide those wings?"

Fiesty.Lotus: "Them skirts are right pretty."

Fitheach Eun: "Or these ears? Or Fiesty's feet?"

Talia Sunsong: "Hmmm I could try"

Savage.Taurus: "They are...the textile market here is thriving."

Fiesty.Lotus: "I could try on a skirt if I found one."

Talia Sunsong: "Are those bulls in the courtyard?"

Savage.Taurus: "They trade with people from all around the sea

Fitheach Eun: Interesting."

Fiesty.Lotus: "Oh good then.."

Fitheach Eun: "They are used to seeing different people then?"

Talia Sunsong: "I want to see. I want to see everything. Do they have cream?

Fiesty.Lotus sighs and follows

Fitheach Eun does, too

Savage.Taurus: "I'm sure they have cream...though its probably from an animal you haven't tried before."

Talia Sunsong: "Look they're vaulting bulls"

Fitheach Eun mutters: " Oh no..."

Talia Sunsong: "That looks like fun. Do they pay you in cream to vault bulls?"

Savage.Taurus goes to a local vender and comes back with a earthenware cup full of cream

Savage.Taurus: "This is from a local animal they call a Kri-kri"

Savage.Taurus hands it to the fae

Talia Sunsong: "What's a Kri kri? Oh I don't care as long as it's cream?"

Savage.Taurus: "It's sort of like a goat"

Talia Sunsong grabs the cup and gulps cream

Talia Sunsong: "Oooo this is going straight to my head."

Fitheach Eun looks over towards a building that looks like a temple

Savage.Taurus watches her drink the kri-kri creme

Fitheach.Eun: "Do they worship bulls here?"

Savage.Taurus: "Yes, they revere bulls."

Talia.Sunsong: As the cream flies to what little logical brain cells the Fae has all sense is erased

Fitheach.Eun: Interesting

Fitheach.Eun watches the giddy fae with alarm

Talia.Sunsong: stumbles towards the bull vaulters. "I can vault a bull with my hands tied behind my back."

Fitheach.Eun: Savage don't give her any more of that

[Savage.Taurus: I met a particular man-bull down in the labyrinths underneath the town

Talia.Sunsong: charges at the bull "Kowaaaa  bunnngaaa"

Fitheach.Eun: "Talia, don't mess with the bulls; they may have religious significance"

Fitheach.Eun: " A man-bull?"

Savage.Taurus: "I haven't yet learned all the local customs. Remind me to tell you about my arrival here some time."

Talia.Sunsong: "But I wannt to jump them too."

Fitheach.Eun rolls my eyes

Talia.Sunsong flutters her wings and somersaults over the bull

Hey, That's Cheating...

Savage.Taurus: Just trying to fit in as best as I can

Talia.Sunsong: "Wheeeee!"

Fitheach.Eun sighs

Savage.Taurus: Yea, he's called a minotaur. Not a bad guy, though he's only helpful when it benefits him.

Talia.Sunsong: "A mini tour?"

Savage.Taurus: watches the fae vault the bulls, "Hey, you know using your wings is cheating!!"

Talia.Sunsong: "Fae never cheat, they just act like Fae"

Savage.Taurus: mumbles, "never trust a fae"

Fiesty.Lotus smiles and shakes her head

Fitheach.Eun: "Is the bull leaping part of their religion Savage?"

Talia.Sunsong looks for more cream

Talia.Sunsong: "Who's that!"

Savage.Taurus: "Um, I think so. I havent really talked to them about that much yet."

Fitheach.Eun: "Is that your Bull man who just walked by?"

Is That the Bull Man?

Fiesty.Lotus says quietly to Druid Fit "We need to get goin here"

Talia.Sunsong shouts: "Hey Bull man do you have cream?"

Fitheach.Eun nods to Fiesty

Fitheach.Eun: Do you think he might know where the next portal is?

Savage.Taurus: "Hmmm...he might. He does know a lot of stuff about this place. Considers himself the 'big dog' around here."

Savage.Taurus: "He told me his name is ταύρος"

Fiesty.Lotus wiggles her tongue but can't catch the accent.

Talia.Sunsong: "That bull man bumped me!"

Fitheach.Eun feels the ground rumble slightly

Fitheach.Eun: "Fiesty, is the land stable here?"

Savage.Taurus: "Oh dont worry about that rumbling. There's an active volcano on the island nearby."

Fitheach.Eun: "How active?"

Talia.Sunsong: "That big smoky thing is a volcano?"

That Big Smokey Thing

Savage.Taurus: "Um, rumble rumble active?"

Fiesty.Lotus looks up, worried." I dunno, I will check.

Fiesty.Lotus pulls her staff out and digs her toes into the cracks in the tile

Fitheach.Eun calls to any sylphs or undines who might live here

Fiesty.Lotus mumbles a few words and starts breathing heavily

Savage.Taurus: wonders why she is calling to sylph's undies

Fiesty.Lotus: There be a disturbance in the earth. It be like a giant wantin out.

Talia.Sunsong: chases Rorn as he goes after another peacock

Fitheach.Eun: "That's not good."

Fitheach.Eun: "Can you stop it?"

Talia.Sunsong: "A giant in the earth wants out?"

Fiesty.Lotus: "This ain't a good place ter be right now."

Savage.Taurus: "Hmm, what kind of giant?"

Talia.Sunsong: "What will happen if we stay here?"

Fiesty.Lotus: "Like pressure, and lots of firey earth."

Fiesty.Lotus shudders

Talia.Sunsong: "Oh no that will damage my delicate fairy wings."

Fitheach.Eun: "It sounds like that volcano will erupt soon; the sylphs say the earth is restless."

Savage.Taurus: "Yeah, we should find a way out of here. Where's my spectacles?"

Talia.Sunsong: "Umm Rorn had them."

Talia.Sunsong searches in her pouch

Talia.Sunsong: "They're here, somewhere."

Savage.Taurus sighs as the nanny digs through her bag

Fitheach.Eun: "Savage, how about you tell your bullish friend we will fix his volcano if he shows us where the next portal is?"

Savage.Taurus: Hmm...that's an idea

Let's Tell the Bull Man We Can Fix His Volcano....

Fiesty.Lotus looks shocked

Savage.Taurus: "Can you do that?"

Fitheach.Eun looks at her hobbit friend: "Fiesty?"

Fiesty.Lotus: "That be a load of work sister. I dunno iffen I can do it"

Savage.Taurus: "What would you need to do a spell like that?"

Fiesty.Lotus: "I would have to get near the disturbance."

Talia.Sunsong: "You can do it! Just drink some cream to fortify you."

Fitheach.Eun: "I am thinking it would take both of us."

Talia.Sunsong: "Maybe we can go near the big smoky thing."

Fitheach.Eun: "And we won't be good for much afterwards."

Savage.Taurus: Yea, kri-kri creme has some kick to it

Talia.Sunsong: "I can help with my wand." She pulls out her bent wand.

Fiesty.Lotus: "I do agree- It be earth fire and air fer certain."

Savage.Taurus: "Oh no...bad idea...put that away"

Fiesty.Lotus: "Um."

Fitheach.Eun: "Yes and the waters to cool."

Fitheach.Eun: "We will need all 4 elements to do it."

Fitheach.Eun sighs

Fiesty.Lotus: "Yes- that too."

Talia.Sunsong: "Elements are cream, sugar, cookies and pie?"

Fitheach.Eun looks narrowly at the fae

Fiesty.Lotus begins to get a headache

Savage.Taurus: laughs heartily at the fae's elements

Talia.Sunsong: "Let's go to the big smoky thing."

Fitheach.Eun: "Let's find that Bull-man."

The refugees once again take a break to celebrate Mabon, the Autumnal Equinox with friends.

The Altar Stands Ready

Rorn: sniffs the food smells in the air
