Food at Last!

Fiesty Lotus: Oh folks , I was goin past that market today and you'll never guess what I seen.

Savage.Taurus: what did you seen?

Fitheach Eun looks interested

Fiesty Lotus: That market guy we seen isn't the one who is there now. I saw him yesterday too.

Talia.Sunsong: "Look a puppy."

Talia.Sunsong: points out the dog to Rorn the baby dragon

Talia.Sunsong: Rorn jumps out of his carriage and runs up to the dog.

Talia.Sunsong: "Rorn come back!"

Fitheach Eun looks at the Dragon; " So it might be safe to go back?"

Savage.Taurus: sighs

Talia.Sunsong: runs after Rorn. The dog barks as a blue baby dragon lands nose to nose with it.

Rorn and the Dog

Talia.Sunsong: Rorn opens his jaws and tries to bite the dog

Savage.Taurus follows to see if his progeny is learning to hunt

Talia.Sunsong: The dog whimpers and backs away from the dragon

Savage.Taurus: “Go get 'em, son! Show that critter what for.”

Fitheach Eun vaults the hedge and runs to save the dog

Fiesty Lotus: nearly cries in frustration

Savage.Taurus: The furry varmints are tender and juicy

Fitheach Eun: "Leave that dog alone; he is someone's pet"

Talia.Sunsong: "I think baby Rorn is hungry"

Fitheach Eun: "Well then let's go get the food we started out for"

Savage.Taurus: "Oh, I suppose someone 'owns' it, like the fish, right" he says sarcastically.

Fiesty Lotus nods and crosses her eyes

Fitheach Eun: Nods: "Yes, exactly"

Fitheach Eun grabs the baby dragon and hands it back to Talia

Fit Rescues the Dog

Savage.Taurus: Not sure what's the point of owning anything that's not shiny

Fitheach Eun: "You need to work on those Nanny skills Make sure he does not get away again."

Savage.Taurus: “Yea, Nanny, you need to feed my rugrat.”

Talia.Sunsong: "Work on something? Fae don't work!"

Fitheach Eun: "You are supposed to be this baby's nanny?"

Savage.Taurus: You better work, or you're going to be out of a job

Talia.Sunsong: shrugs "I feed baby Rorn cotton candy and pet him."

Savage.Taurus: you will be an ex-fae

Fiesty Lotus checks her pockets to see if they have all the money that they have earned

Fitheach Eun strokes the dog's head and comforts him

Fitheach Eun: "I think we should take the side walk"

Fitheach Eun vaults the gate and walks back up to the paved walkway by the boardwalk

Talia.Sunsong: follows, while petting baby Rorn

Fitheach Eun spies another cotton candy cart and has an idea....

Fit Spies the Cotton Candy Vendor

Fitheach Eun: "Look Talia, more of that sweet spun sugar"

Savage.Taurus: “The kid needs meat.”

Talia.Sunsong: Eyes dart towards the cotton candy cart. "I want some of the air candy."

Fitheach Eun: let's go get some; Dragon you must try this

Fiesty Lotus looks back at the group and expels a sigh

Fiesty Lotus mumbles "I kin get some vittles now"

Fiesty Sneaks Off to Buy Food

Fitheach Eun offers the cotton candy vendor her left over coins

Talia.Sunsong: "I want blue cotton candy today--no pink--blue!"

Fitheach Eun: The vendor hands each of them a cone of sugar candy

Savage.Taurus sighs and rushes down the beach, tosses his hat on the sand and dives into the ocean

Fitheach Eun watches Dragon with concern

Fiesty Lotus enters the store and smiles winningly at the vendor.

Talia.Sunsong: "Where is he going?" Looks down at baby dragon. "Don't worry Rorn, daddy dragon will be back, and you can eat candy in the meanwhile."

Fitheach Eun hands her cone of candy to the fae: "Here Talia, you may have mine, too."

Savage.Taurus after a minute he emerges with a fish flapping in his mouth.

Dragon Catches a Fish

Fiesty Lotus: “Greetins kind sir. Kin I get some of that there beef? I be new around here. How much fer that big piece?”

Talia.Sunsong: quickly takes the offered cone of cotton candy

Talia.Sunsong holds the cone of blue cotton candy up to Rorn's mouth

Fitheach Eun: The candy vendor, who had been working in the grocery when they had visited before suddenly notices the baby dragon and Dragon with the fish and screams.

Talia.Sunsong: "It's a dog! A strange dog," says Talia to the vendor

Fiesty Lotus: The grocery vendor answers: “That will be 6 --- pence”

Fitheach Eun: Terrified, he jumps down to the sand and runs off

Buying Groceries

Talia.Sunsong: "Look Rorn, daddy dragon is back with a fish in his mouth."

Fiesty Lotus looks at her money and shows it to the vendor. "Do I have enough?"

Talia.Sunsong sees the vendor run off. "Do we get all the cotton candy now since the vendor is gone?"

Savage.Taurus bites into the fish and starts chewing, then slaps the cone of cotton candy away from the young'un and leans over to spit the masticated fish into his mouth

Fitheach Eun: "NO Talia; that would be stealing"

Fiesty Lotus: The Vendor replies "Yes indeed Little lady. And more besides”

Fiesty Lotus: Fiesty quickly fills in an order and pays the vendor with the money she has.

Fitheach Eun: "The constable is right up there on the walkway; I am surprised he did not hear the screams."

Talia.Sunsong: "Hey! Now I lost my cotton candy."

Fitheach Eun: Let's take the fish and go meet Fiesty

Savage.Taurus: feeds the little one until he is full and then eats the rest of the raw fish himself

Fitheach Eun: "You still have mine, Talia"

Fiesty Lotus takes her packages out quickly  but sees the boy who ran off for the constable on the corner.

The Boy is Suspicious

Talia.Sunsong takes a big bite out of the remaining cotton candy and walks on

Fiesty Lotus hides her face behind her packages and passes the boy on her way to the boardwalk

Savage.Taurus picks the bones clean and tosses them aside. "Now where did my hat go?" Scans the sand for his hat.

Fitheach Eun sees the boy, too and walks on down the walkway instead of turning

Savage.Taurus follows them, now dripping wet. "Why do you wear these fabrics on your bodies? They get soggy."

Fitheach Eun: "They will dry quickly in this air. And generally, we remove them before we go in the water."

Savage.Taurus: “Then I should remove them now.”

Fiesty Lotus: NOOOOO

Fitheach Eun: "Wait until we get back to the house?”

Talia.Sunsong: "Baby Rorn is naked."

Fiesty Lotus grasps her heart

Savage.Taurus starts undressing until they stop him, and he just sighs at them

Fiesty Lotus nods at her sister’s Sang Fraud

Fitheach Eun calls on the air spirits and the sylphs come and pull all the water from Dragon's clothes

Savage.Taurus: “Ah, thank you drood”

Fitheach Eun: "There see all dry again."

Savage.Taurus: “You need to teach me that trick.”

Fitheach Eun: " You need to study a lot."

Savage.Taurus: “Meh”

Fitheach Eun: "Let's get back to the house?"

Fiesty Lotus: “Alright, I kin do some recipes that don't take cookin.”

A Happy Hobbit with Bundles of Food

Fitheach Eun: "Do we still need to pretend we do not live here?"

Fitheach Eun: “They have all seen us now and except for the dragon and Fae's behavior it has been all right."

Talia.Sunsong: After being fed fish, Rorn purrs contentedly

Fiesty Lotus: “Hmm, it would be bold ter introduce ourselves.”

Talia.Sunsong: "What do you mean except for the Fae's behavior it has been all right? I've been soooo good."

Fitheach Eun raises her eyebrows but says nothing

Savage.Taurus just rolls his eyes

Fiesty Lotus puts her packages down and begins to make a meal.

Getting Ready for Dinner

Fitheach Eun: "We could have a fire if we were open about being here."

Talia.Sunsong: "If you are good baby Rorn, maybe you can play with the doggy some more."

Fiesty Lotus: "So, we kin have a fire?"

Talia.Sunsong: "Just have Swag the dragon breathe on the food."

Savage.Taurus blows a flame out of his left nostril

Savage.Taurus: “Watch out for the searing boogers.”

Fitheach Eun: “Light that fire and save me the work then, Dragon”

Savage.Taurus blows a small fireball onto the log beneath the cauldron

Fiesty Lotus: “Now I got a fire I kin make some bread.”
