Calming the Volcano Part 2

The heat from the volcano is stifling as the boat draws close. 

Talia.Sunsong  flies into the air. "The lava giants are pouring lava out.”

Fitheach Eun looks to Fiesty, " Are you going to begin?"

Confronting the Volcano

Fiesty.Lotus wipes her brow and stands.

Talia.Sunsong calls out "Hey lava giants, quit smoking and pouring lava out of the mountain."

Fitheach Eun stands in the boat and call the sylphs and undines to be ready.

Fiesty.Lotus begins a chant calling on Earth and fire to attend her.

Talia.Sunsong  pulls out bent magic wand. "I can help."

Savage.Taurus  sits back in the boat and watches the droods do their thing. "This should be interesting."

Fitheach Eun looks stern " Put the wand away, Talia."

Fitheach Eun “This is druid business.”

Rorn grabs Talia's wand with his teeth.

Fiesty.Lotus “Earth, hear my call and settle the pressure waiting there to burst.”

Fitheach Eun attunes to the earth to follow what Fiesty is doing.

Fiesty.Lotus “Fire, slow your fury and be a peace.”

Rorn flies near the lava. To him as a dragon, the heat is nothing.

Fitheach Eun waves her hand to the sylphs; " Carry off these deadly fumes."

Fiesty.Lotus holds her staff out and murmurs to the two powers.

Fiesty.Lotus calls on her earth spirit, Pooka to find the area that is most under pressure.

Fitheach Eun speaks to the undines waiting around the boat "Swim my sisters, cool this volcano with swirling waves."

Talia.Sunsong  "Don't drop my wand in the lava, Rorn."

The Pooka appears and grins a naughty grin at Fiesty.

Fitheach Eun { Go Rorn!]

Fiesty.Lotus "Do what I say Pooka, and be quick about it"

Fitheach Eun watches Fiesty’s pooka friend warily.

Savage.Taurus  wonders what his pup is doing with the fae wand.

Talia.Sunsong  flies after Rorn, who dodges Talia's grasping hands.

Fitheach Eun directs the sylphs to make a tornado of air to siphon off the gases.

Talia.Sunsong  feels the winds increasing.

Savage.Taurus  relaxes and enjoys the cool breeze

The Pooka finds the spot and Fiesty (sweating and shaking) releases the gasses in a thin stream.

Pooka Finds the Pressure Spot

Talia.Sunsong  spins around and around in the sylph’s tornado "Helpppp. Get me out of here."

Fiesty.Lotus The pressure reduces, and the lava begins to settle.

Savage.Taurus  chuckles at the fae playing in the breeze.

Talia Spinning in the Wind

Fiesty.Lotus continues to chant.

Rorn swirls around in the tornado, and Talia reaches uselessly for him and her wand.

Savage.Taurus watches the hobbit and elf, impressed at their control over the elementals.

Fitheach Eun helps the undines bring cooler ocean water against the cone.

The earth , being not so convulsed begins to settle.

Fitheach Eun feels the earth respond to Fiesty and tells the sylphs to reduce the winds.

Talia.Sunsong spins slower.

Fiesty.Lotus turns to Druid Fit "What do you think?"

Fitheach Eun nods at Fiesty; "I think we got it."

Savage.Taurus  "So you've reduced the gases and the heat; but what are you going to do about the 'giants' inside?"

Fitheach Eun checks with the undines who say the volcano is sleeping now.

Talia.Sunsong  "Aha! Got you!" Talia grabs Rorn's tail.

Fiesty.Lotus I just said that - that were my words fer the pressure.

Fitheach Eun Fiesty settled that

Savage.Taurus  "ah..heh"

Savage.Taurus  How long will it last?

Fitheach Eun She did the hard part; my spirits just helped clean up.

Fiesty.Lotus beacons to her Pooka and gives him fair words for his service.

Fitheach Eun asks a sylph to get that wand.

Talia.Sunsong  "Give me that!" Talia grabs her wand from Rorn's mouth.

Fiesty.Lotus sits down and then faints dead away.

Fitheach Eun slumps beside her in the boat and asks for water.

Savage.Taurus  fans Fiesty's face.

Talia.Sunsong  "Mine!" Talia holds up her wand triumphantly.

Fitheach Eun sighs.

Savage.Taurus  hands Fit a jug of fresh water.

Fitheach Eun “Thanks Savage, I'm glad you brought that.”

Savage.Taurus  “Good job, girls.”

Volcano Subdued

Talia.Sunsong  nods like she had a hand in calming the volcano. "Thanks"

Savage.Taurus  “Heh.”

Talia.Sunsong  "Why is Fiesty laying down?"

Talia.Sunsong  flies over to the Hobbit. "Maybe she needs cookies."

Savage.Taurus  "So, if we are all done, let’s get back to shore," picks up the oars and starts rowing the boat.

Fitheach Eun looks at Talia; " Just leave her alone she is exhausted."

Talia.Sunsong  "Then she definitely needs cookies."

Savage.Taurus  “Hmm...I could go for some cookies too.”

Fitheach Eun see a glimmer of blue on one of the islands and asks Savage to stop.

Savage.Taurus  stops and looks where the elf is pointing.

Fitheach Eun “Let's go that way, please.”

Fitheach Eun “I think we have found our portal.”

Fiesty.Lotus rouses and hears Druid Fit

Fiesty.Lotus Oh, good one"

Talia.Sunsong  "The volcano smoke was hiding the portal?"

Fitheach Eun waves goodbye to Minoa as the boat nears the portal island.

Savage.Taurus  turns and starts rowing the boat in the direction of the blue glimmer
